Cheiron/EHHS Annual Meeting, wrap-up

Book Club: Yiddish Policemen’s Union

Our choice for book club last week was Michael Chabon’s Yiddish Policemen’s Union. Several of us were big fans of his earlier work, especially the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. Compared to Adventures, this book is something of a mixed-bag. Vacation in WA and BC: Knitters are Everywhere!

Wayne and I just returned from a vacation in British Columbia and Washington. In addition to exploring various sites, and for me, local knitting stores, I found some fellow fiber addicts! Here I am on the Victoria Clipper from Victoria to San Juan Island, where I met three knitting sisters from Nebraska.
