My name is Heather Munro Prescott and I’m a Professor of History at Central Connecticut State University. My interests include the history of medicine, public health, science, and technology. I’m especially interested in issues affecting women, children, and youth. My current research project is on the history of emergency contraception in the United States since the 1960s.

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading your blog from a more conservative blogger. While my blog is not in the same general topics as yours, I enjoy reading others points of view without all the evilness and snarky comments that I find in some.
